ARI

Paul and I love Ari Marcopoulos. I fell in love with his work when browsing Dashwood Books in New York, my most favourite book store in the whole world. More known for his work with skaters, or the downtown art scenes of NYC, I prefer his intimate photos of his wife and children. There's a phenomenal picture of his son wearing raven feathers in a forest. I loved it so much that I had to rip it out of one of his 'zines and frame it. There's a crease right down the middle where the page of was folded in the centre.

This print was given to us by Paul's friend! I was so happy as I really regretted not buying it when I was in store at Dashwood! I opted for two 'zines and a book instead, as it was easier to carry home!
